If you like a great story with an engaging cast of characters this one's for you. It's fun to learn more about this small town seething with intrigue and a never ending lust for baked goods!
I gained 20 lbs from the delicious goodies described in this book. I quite like the lead figure in that she isn't a ditzy snoop having been a PI in her previous career. Interesting characters.
What happen to Walter? I enjoyed this book as it has a lot or suspense and excitement from start to finish I also enjoy the recipes at the end
I advise you to read this book for a night of enjoyment
Entertaining and engaging read, but I had most of the guilty parties figured out early on (which I can't usually do). There was no gore which, personally, I don't think a good mystery needs anyway.
This is the 3rd book in the Sky High Pies Cozy Mysteries series. Love this writer, Mary Maxwell. Red Velvet, Dead Velvet (Sky High Pies Cozy Mysteries Book 3)
4 1/2 stars for this story. Good plot and fully developed characters kept my imagination working to solve this cozy mystery. Reccommend for light reading .

This is the third in the series, and I have enjoyed each one. They have some mystery, a little romance , recipes, and an assortment of characters.
